Hi! If you’re new here, I’m Coach Insiya (in-see-ya). I’m the original GLP-1 Coach who specializes in strategy and mindset for your weight loss journey. I’m not a content creator, instead I create content as an expert in what I do best: help high-achieving women on GLP-1 go from overwhelm, second-guessing, and doing it on their own — to having a clear strategy, unshakable confidence, and support from women who get it.

Okay now let’s get to it!

8 Things I don’t do as a GLP-1 Coach on Zepbound, who has lost 85 pounds total (so far!), and 65 of those pounds have been while on Zepbound. 

  1. I don’t have a goal weight
    I’m not counting down to a magical number. My weight is not a valuable goal to me.
  2. I don’t have a weekly meal plan
    I don’t have to when I’ve got mix and match options always ready to go in the fridge and freezer.
  3. I don’t keep the shot a secret
    I posted publicly to my personal FB page (before I ever had my social media accounts). I wanted to control the narrative.
  4. I don’t weight in regularly
    I track how I’m doing on this journey based on how I feel about myself and my habits.
  5. I don’t consume 99% of other GLP-1 Content on Social Media
    It’s wild out there and diet mindset runs rampant across all platforms.
  6. I don’t count calories
    I rather understand nutrition and my body, than the calories in each item of food I ingest.
  7. I don’t wait until Monday to start a new workout or habit
    Why wait, when right now is better?
  8. I don’t let my inner critic win
    Her diet mindset doesn’t pass the vibe check.

What I do instead

✨ Instead of setting a goal weight, I focus on getting 1% stronger, faster and healthier daily.

✨ Instead of mapping out every meal each week, which used to take so much mental energy and time, I batch cook multiple options with different seasonings. I make sure my fridge is set for my success.

✨ Instead of secrecy and the shame that usually comes with it, I tell my Zepbound/ Mounjaro story on my terms and in my own words.

✨ Instead of stepping on the scale daily, or making a weekly ritual of it, I hop on if it’s been a while since I last checked, how my clothes have been fitting, what part of the cycle I’m in and most importantly…if I’ve had a good poo.

✨ Instead of watching endless hours of others on their GLP-1 journey, I spend time working on my own journey or my GLP-1 Coaching business to support my clients.

✨ Instead of counting calories, I monitor my general macros: protein, carbs and fiber.

✨ Instead of waiting until Monday, I decide to start as soon as I realize I need to make a new change to my routine. I let myself take imperfect action and adjust as I go.

✨ Instead of listening to that inner critic who thinks I should skip meals and sneak on the scale to just “check”, I acknowledge her attempts at “helping” and remind her that I eat to nourish my body and the scale isn’t how I measure my success.
