Coach Insiya
( in-SEE-ya )
I never planned to become a coach.
In fact, if you had told me a few years ago that I’d be guiding hundreds of women through their GLP-1 journeys, I might have laughed. Like many of you, my path hasn’t been a straight line—it’s been a winding road of unexpected turns, hard-earned lessons, and transformative moments that led me exactly where I needed to be.
When I started Zepbound in January 2024, I approached it the same way I’ve approached everything in my life—with relentless preparation and determination. I spent months researching, meticulously planning meals, and creating the “perfect” strategy.
My Instagram account? It began as my way of proving to the world—and maybe to myself—that I was doing everything possible to succeed.
I’ve lost 65+ pounds on medication—and 85+ pounds total—and still counting, while navigating the chaos of mom life, full-time work, and a brain that definitely has ADHD.
But this isn’t about the weight I’ve lost. It’s about everything I’ve gained:
For so long, I wore my high standards like a badge of honor. I believed my high-achieving personality was the cornerstone of my success, the secret sauce to all the milestones I’d hit in life.
But that same drive and perfectionism—the qualities I once celebrated—were also my biggest obstacles.
The pressure to achieve, to prove myself, to do everything perfectly…it was exhausting. Eventually, it led to burnout. I was stuck in a cycle where I prioritized results over my well-being.
It wasn’t until I began questioning these tendencies—and my insatiable need for external validation—that I uncovered the real reason for my struggles and found a sustainable approach to my health journey.
As I shared my experiences online, something unexpected happened. Messages flooded my inbox from women facing the same challenges:
“How did you break through that plateau?”
“What do you eat when the nausea hits?”
“How do you stay motivated when the scale isn’t moving?”
What began as casual conversations evolved into something more meaningful. By July 2024, I was coaching women one-on-one, bringing together my background in Biology and Psychology, my personal experience on GLP-1 medications, and my passion for creating systems that actually work in real life.
In February 2025, I officially established my coaching business, and by March 2025, I launched The GLP-1 Strategy Lab—an exclusive membership designed to help women navigate their GLP-1 journeys with confidence, clarity, and community.
When most people think about weight loss, they focus exclusively on what to eat and how to move. But I’ve discovered that sustainable success on GLP-1 medications requires so much more:
I’ve lived the journey of trying to figure it all out alone—devouring every free resource, spending countless hours studying, and refusing to invest in support. What did that cost me? Lost sleep, endless frustration, precious time I could never get back, and constant self-doubt.
That’s why I’ve created what I wish had existed when I started: a comprehensive approach that addresses both the practical strategies AND the emotional challenges of the GLP-1 journey.
I start every morning with affirmations to ground myself in self-compassion:
When I’m not geeking out about GLP-1 strategies or supporting my amazing community, you’ll find me:
I’m not here to be a perfect example of weight loss success. I’m here to be a real example of what’s possible when you combine strategic thinking with self-compassion.
